Welcome to the world of Cubicles & Capital! This is a cooperative, narrative-driven, collaborative story-telling game that allows people new to Tabletop Roleplaying Games, or TTRPGs for short, to experience a striped-back and streamlined roleplaying experience in a real-world setting.

The corporate ladder is the ultimate dungeon crawler!

Typically, a game of C&C will begin with the Shift Manager (SM) describing the setting, the immediate area and a problem that will require the players to work together to solve it. This is then followed by the players describing what they want their characters to do. This could be anything from going to have a chat with a co-worker to gather information to something more extreme like getting into a combat scenario.

Finally, the SM will narrate the results of the actions taken by the players. These could be easily resolved tasks such as a friendly conversation or getting some simple paperwork done. Sometimes, however, things can get a bit more complicated, and the SM requires the players to roll their dice to help resolve the situation. If this happens the SM will likely ask the player to roll their six-sided die (D6) and give them the result. After the result is calculated by the SM informs the players about the result and the gameplay continues in this cycle.
